A charming little store with a selection of excellent and interesting books for all ages. I was surprised by how reasonably priced the used books were—better than online prices! But to have this along with the pleasure of browsing in your local store and chatting with friendly people? Amazing.

Great book store - friendly staff. Had quite a few indie author books for purchase that are hard to find in regular bookstores or only online. Interesting used book inventory as well. Will definitely be back on my next trip through Kentucky.

Birdwhistell is a cozy, beautifully curated bookstore with an incredible selection of new and used books. I loved that they had a great collection of Wendell Berry available. The owner’s warmth made our first visit amazing. A true gem in Elizabethtown. We can’t wait to come back.

Place is small but the prices on used books were great and the selection was pretty good considering the size. They got a little bit of everything. Even a wall of new books with a section of those on sale. The place was PACKED on opening night and everyone was buying stuff so I hope they stick around for a bit!
